Buffalo Coast Media wants The Finance Tech to be usable by as many people as possible, including readers who use assistive technology. Clear, accessible money information should be available to everyone.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a practical standard for the site. This is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time fix.

What we do

• We use clear headings and a logical reading order so screen readers can move through articles easily.
• We aim for readable text sizes and strong color contrast between text and background.
• We add descriptive alternative text to meaningful images.
• We write link text that makes sense on its own.
• We design pages to work with keyboard navigation.

Known limitations

Some older content, embedded media, or third-party elements may not yet fully meet our goal. We are working to improve these over time.
