For forty plus years, I’ve been a real estate agent in South Florida. That gave me the chance to sit across the table from a lot of people while they made the largest financial transaction of their lives, buying or selling property.

From that, I’ve learned there’s so much more to a money decision than just the money. When it comes to a financial decision, there are other things to weigh, like fear, family, timing, and ultimately what you envision for your future.

I’ve seen cautious, capable people get paralyzed by the thought of taking out a mortgage. And I’ve watched others quietly build their own wealth through intentional choices. Most of the time, it came back to whether anyone took the time to explain all the options clearly.
