Your Privacy Choices
Last updated: July 5, 2026
This page is for anyone who wants to limit how their information is used on thefinancetech.com — and especially for California residents exercising their right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the CCPA. We never sell your personal information for money. But like most websites, we use measurement and advertising tags — such as the Pinterest tag, and Google AdSense once our ads go live — that California law may treat as “sharing.” Here is how to say no to that.
Opt out of personalized advertising
- Google (our ad provider): turn off ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
- Pinterest: turn off personalized ads in your Pinterest privacy settings.
- Most other ad networks at once: use the industry opt-out pages at aboutads.info/choices and optout.networkadvertising.org.
Global Privacy Control
The Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser setting that tells every website you visit that you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We treat a GPC signal as an opt-out request where the law requires it. You can learn how to turn it on at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Other privacy requests
To ask what information we have about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email hello@buffalocoastmedia.com with “California privacy request” in the subject line. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
